“M” Building at RRC Polytech is home to the Auto Diesel Shop and features 12″ hollow core slab floors and exposed HSS and steel beam framing. Several shorter wide flange beams are spliced together to form one large continuous primary beam to support the slabs. Note the ductwork routed through the hollow cores of the floor slabs.

The Skilled Trades & Technology Centre features exposed glulam beams, structural steel elements and their connections. Two 6″ hollow steel sections form an exposed cross brace located in a hall way on the main floor.
